I looked into the session from your demo — the Bizard skill successfully parsed the uploaded geneCountMatrix.txt (20k genes, 6 samples across ATC/PTC groups), generated the analysis report and PCA coordinates, but the output files like bizard_gene_matrix_report.md and pca_coordinates.tsv couldn't be downloaded. The agent also attempted to generate a PCA plot image, but fell back to providing R code since the container environment lacked plotting libraries like ggplot2.

Root cause: The agent runs inside a Docker container and writes all output files to the container's local filesystem. There was no bridge to deliver those files back to the user — so even when the analysis completed successfully, the generated artifacts were trapped inside the container.

Fix: I've added an artifact upload pipeline that automatically transfers agent-generated files to cloud storage and returns download links directly in the chat. Every session now auto-loads this capability, so agents will always provide downloadable links instead of referencing local file paths.

Status: Already deployed to production as of May 4. You can try the same workflow again — files like analysis reports and data tables should now be directly downloadable from the conversation.

@ShixiangWang BTW, the goal of socialistic.ai is to make sharing skills like Bizard as easy as sharing a link — no R, no Python, no environment setup. Anyone you send the link to can just open it and start using the skill immediately.

For a project like Bizard with 256 tutorials, this means your users (students, collaborators, reviewers) can jump straight into generating heatmaps, PCA plots, or volcano plots from their own data — without installing anything locally. Just share, click, and go.

1. Progress indicator — shipped ✅

Great call — we've replaced the old generic loading screen ("老师傅起床中……") with a 5-step ritual progress indicator that shows exactly what's happening during session initialization:

Each step lights up with a gold rune marker (· → ✦ → ✓) as it completes:

呈上信物	Presenting the offerings — uploading your files (with per-file counter like 0/3)

There's also a progress arc on the glow seal that fills as overall progress advances, and a slow-warning note if things take longer than ~20s (e.g. cold start).

2. Input design — file-first is intentional

the default input only contains files or links, how to input user prompt?

This is a deliberate product design choice — we've observed that file-based input leads to 20%+ higher session start rates compared to a blank chat prompt. Uploading a file gives users a concrete starting point and reduces the "blank page" friction.

That said, you can always skip the file upload and go straight to chat: there's a → arrow button right next to the link input field at the bottom of the card. Clicking it will take you directly to the chat page where you can type freely.
