MCPB file doesn't install the server even though server is running

Describe the bug
When a user installs a server via mcpb file (my users are trying to install chessagine-mcpb file https://github.com/jalpp/chessagine-mcp/releases/tag/chessagine-mcp-v0.7.7-stable) the server is installed and running on UI, but Claude isn't able to search the tools. I have tested my mcp server and it does expose the tools and resources properly, but Claude when tries to search "chessagine" it can't pick up the tools

To Reproduce

1. Install the release file via developer extensions
2. enable the connector in connector settings
3. ask it to show chessagine tools

**Expected behaviour **
Claude should be able to search and query the mcpb tools

This issue is still present on my end.

The linked resolution in jalpp/chessagine-mcp#56 only documents how to install the server manually, it doesn't fix the mcpb install flow itself. Claude still can't discover tools from mcpb-installed servers after following the standard install steps.

Reproduced on Claude Desktop 1.20186.0 (d7731e). Could this be looked at as an actual fix rather than a workaround? The mcpb install path being broken defeats the purpose of the format for end users.

Tried opening an issue on the Claude Code repo but it was marked as invalid for being in Claude Desktop.

Hey, yeah its quite un-stable in my latest mcpb release for chessagine-mcp I removed the version naming from mcpb manifest.json name and it showed up, but it seems its quite unstable also so thats why that workaround was put in the docs and I closed this issue. I will re-open it given the root cause is not fixed and this should be addressed by mcpb repo owners.

I don't think it's the mcpb install issue. The problem in linked issue occurred when the mcpb-installed server stopped working after weeks or even months of use. So, how I see it, it's not related to install but rather the change in how Claude Desktop handles those mcpb installed servers.
