New wm layout suggestion

I absolutely love how mango does the scroller layout, the way you can just navigate the entire strip with just your cursor is amazing. And I also adore vertical scroll, I use it more than horizontal scroll tbh. Back when I used fedora a few months ago, I had it setup so the virtual desktops were aligned in a grid, and I could also move focus to a desktop in a certain direction, and it would correspond to the grid in the way that it moved the focus.

I want a grid type scroller layout. I feel like that would give the most freedom in which i do what I do, and I wont feel restricted in the way that I put my windows in. A problem I think would come from this is creating windows. Where would the new window appear? how would window resizing work? Just a suggestion. I don't know if we can fix these issues so that this can be a reality, or even if other people want this feature. Just something that came out of my mind.
