Unable to print label. Error message:
You need to create a label and set it to be used for print.

To Reproduce
Create label as follows:

Return to label printing screen, tick "Use for Print", then press print button, followed by print screen in popup:

Thanks for the clear report and screenshots; this helped track it down.

I found the root cause: the Use For Print checkbox click was not being persisted because of a frontend event-binding mismatch on the Labels page. So the selection looked like it worked in the UI, but the default label was never actually saved in the database.

A fix is now in place on the dev branch.

Could you please test on dev and confirm?

• Switch to dev branch and update
• Go to Labels
• Tick Use For Print on your label
• Try printing again

If it still fails, please share a screenshot of the Labels table after ticking, plus browser console/network output for the saveDefaultLabel request.
