Bulk Edit of Log Entries

I just uploaded my ADI for the 7QP contest last weekend. I see that the QSL entries did not pick up the contest name. Is there a way to bulk edit all the entries from a date range to have the contest entry modified?

Fastest way todo this is going into MySQL and doing SQL magic there's no command todo it on the frontend

I am also looking for a convenient way to bulk edit QSOs. My use case has something to do with my process of making OQRS. But I am sure there are lots of very special use cases.
I would like to build a small helper tool for my use case. And I would like to access and edit the data via the API. But as far as I can see, there is no way to edit the data via the API.
What do you think? Could you imagine making the API more powerful? Or do you think this is not the right way?
