✅ Design Phase: COMPLETE

All design decisions have been made and documented. Ready to begin implementation.

Template Strategy

  • ✅ Approach: Hybrid (I draft Tier 1-2, you draft Tier 3-4)
  • ✅ Count: 94 templates total (2 per verb + bonuses for high-freq)
  • ✅ Complexity: Match verb tier
  • ✅ English: Mix of literal and natural
  • ✅ High-Frequency: 10 verbs get 3-4 templates each

Technical Decisions

  • ✅ Subjects: 7 total (yo, tú, vos, él/ella/usted, nosotros, vosotros, ellos/ellas/ustedes)
  • ✅ Defaults: vos and vosotros unchecked
  • ✅ Tenses: Present, Preterite, Future (Phase 1)
  • ✅ Tense Scaling: Templates are tense-agnostic (easy to add more tenses)
