@cc [owner:ghuntley,label:architecture] repository-decision-evidence
Changes to accepted architectural requirements MUST preserve their rationale and
update the applicable ADR and implementation evidence in the same change. An
accepted decision or a passing structural checker MUST NOT be presented as proof
that runtime behavior or deployment acceptance has been verified.
@cc [owner:ghuntley,label:security] repository-secret-diagnostics
Application and operational diagnostics MUST NOT expose credentials, authentication
tokens, token-bearing login URLs, encryption keys or terminal contents. Synthetic
test values may be inspected only within isolated fixtures and MUST NOT become
production defaults. ADR-0042's opt-in full-argument host audit is restricted
evidence, not ordinary diagnostics; only explicitly selected destinations may
receive it. Encrypted crash artifact contents MUST NOT enter log destinations.
@cc [owner:ghuntley,label:verification] repository-contract-maintenance
When changing code, authors MUST inspect its local notes, enclosing declarations,
ancestor CONTRACTS and relevant callee contracts; reconcile implementation, tests
and obligations together. Conflicting requirements MUST be surfaced, not silently
removed or weakened to make the implementation appear compliant.
@cc [owner:ghuntley,label:verification] repository-test-claim-boundary
Verification claims MUST identify the actual tested scope. Unit tests and mocks
MUST NOT establish physical VM isolation, multi-host availability, SMTP inbox
delivery or fleet throughput. Environment-dependent acceptance remains separate
from the ordinary project gates.
@cc [owner:ghuntley,label:architecture] repository-compatibility-lifetime
Production code MUST NOT retain a reader, field, route, column, option or
migration whose only purpose is an older release, peer, stored format or retired
name once both hosts have converged past it (ADR-0159). Mixed-version safety MUST
be achieved by ordering converged pushes: the consumer tolerates absence, then the
producer stops, then the decoder becomes strict or the schema object is dropped.
Old-format durable data MUST be exported with a recorded digest before it is purged.
