Auto-creation of ECR repository

If you try to sync an image to a non-existent repository, you will get an error.

Add a flag (or set by default) that will enable automatic creation of an ECR repository

Ya I'm not so sure about that one - that request still seems a bit odd to me, especially in the age of IaC. Then it potentially sprawls into being an imperative tool that needs to update and modify repositories but only those it created but how do you keep track of that, etc.

We'll leave this open but I'm leaning towards this not being a part of the tool

I understand and share your position.

But not everything always comes down to IaC, especially when it comes to synchronization.
For me, this means that instead of a YAML config file with parameter, I'll have to use some scripts to check and auto-create the ECR repo, and then run the synchronization.
