I am running now the beta 4.0 executable on Linux Mint. Everything looks fine. It is great to have both 3.8.2 and 4.0 beta on same laptop. So I can test also how compatible they are. No problems so far. I will continue ...

Nice! Icon is present in the taskbar ? QualCoder launcher is present on the app menu?

I can see the icon in the taskbar (panel) while running beta, but not in the app menu. I have to start every time by clicking the exec file.
