Welcome the DEX Rust @GeorgeHahn! We don't intend on breaking anything between now and launch 😅 But, famous last words... As it stands this preview clears the Conformance Test suite, and we've reviewed the API signatures pretty extensively. We do not at this point intend to make changes arbitrarily, unless some unforeseen bug or flaw in the current design rears its head. So, risk is yours to assess. If your non-mission critical service is suitable, we would really value your feedback! |

Hi! My team owns a workflow executor built with Rust on non-durable lambdas and SQS. That part of the system holds a lot of complexity and toil. In my proof of concept, a durable lambda implementation gives simpler code and reduces operational toil. Most importantly though, durable lambdas will allow us to build new capabilities within a reasonable complexity profile.
The promise here is substantial. I have appetite to use this preview SDK for an internal, non-mission critical service. How does that strike you? Are there any notable missing capabilities or anticipated breakages my team should be aware of?
Thank you,
George
