Verified May 2026 by hitting /v1/chain/get_info and /v2/history/get_actions on each. Some providers serve /v1/chain/* only; Hyperion (/v2/history/*, /v2/state/*) requires a heavier indexer not every operator hosts.

Token Contract Registry

Verified live (May 2026) via get_currency_stats. The contract column is what you pass as account in a transfer action; the precision must match exactly when constructing asset strings ("1.0000 XPR" is 4-decimal; "1.000000 XUSDC" is 6-decimal). Mismatching precision returns Symbol mismatch / asset-format errors.

Tokens on the xtokens contract

xtokens is a multi-token contract hosting wrapped representations of assets from other chains. Most tokens use an X prefix to mark them as the XPR Network wrapped version (e.g. XBTC for Bitcoin, XETH for Ethereum). A few don't follow that prefix convention — they're on xtokens all the same.

Two naming gotchas to watch for:

  • XXRP and XXLM use a double-X prefix. Single-X variants on Alcor (e.g. XRP@some-other-contract) are unrelated to the canonical wrapped versions on xtokens and may have different precision or no liquidity.
  • METAL ≠ MetalX. METAL is a wrapped representation of Metal Blockchain (a separate Layer 0, unrelated to XPR Network apart from this bridged token). MetalX is the DEX/Swap product on XPR Network. They share a brand prefix but refer to different things.

Discovery

To verify any token's current precision and issuer:

The response gives supply, max_supply, and issuer for that token.
