AgentLedger Specification (v0.1)

Status: Draft
License: Apache-2.0

Overview

AgentLedger records append-only reputation events for AI agents identified by did:agent URIs. It answers: how has this agent behaved over time?

Event Types

Type Description
task_completed Successful task execution
task_failed Failed task execution
user_rating End-user rating
complaint Negative report
complaint_resolved Resolved complaint
verification_passed Passed a trust verification step

Scoring (v0.1)

  • Average rating weight: 70%
  • Success rate weight: 30% (scaled to 0–5)
  • Success rate = positive events / (positive + negative events)
