Python and Numpy Version

• If major release check python and numpy variants that should be supported nep-0029
• If adding new variants build new binaries of pinned versions of Tomophantom, CCPi-Regularisers, TIGRE
• Label binaries as main and dev on anaconda

CIL Changes

• Update .github/workflows/build.yml for new variants
• Run all tests on windows locally
• Final PR named "Pre-release update for vX.X.X"
  • Check CHANGES.md
  • Check variants table in dependencies.rst
  • Check NOTICE.txt includes all new contributors
  • Check CITATION.cff on whether we need to add new permanent developer
  • Check README.md (command for CIL install)
  • Check documentation
• create release on GitHub with new version number (will tag for you)

Build binaries

• Check Anaconda for upload, tag as main and dev
• Clean up nightly builds on anaconda

After Uploads are done

• Send email to CCPi-DEVEL@JISCMAIL.AC.UK; CCPi-Members@JISCMAIL.AC.UK
• Make an announcement on discord
• Make blog post on CCPi.ac.uk
• Schedule a CCPi Show & Tell

CIL-Demos

• Run test demo script with latest CIL
• Update scripts repository with CIL-Demos environment ymls
• Release new version

SIRF

• Update CIL dependency in SIRF superbuild
