                    I'm <strong>Stefano Guerrini</strong>, a backend software engineer based in Haarlem, Netherlands.<br>
                    I currently work at <strong>Marktplaats</strong>, where I help scale one of the biggest marketplaces in the country.<br><br>

                    I work — and I've worked — with a bunch of backend technologies like <strong>Java</strong>, <strong>Scala</strong>, <strong>Kotlin</strong>, <strong>Kafka</strong>, <strong>Debezium</strong>, <strong>RabbitMQ</strong>, <strong>Redis</strong>, <strong>MySQL</strong>, <strong>Postgres</strong>, <strong>AWS</strong>, <strong>Docker</strong>, <strong>Kubernetes</strong> and more.<br><br>

                    I love designing event-driven systems — clean, asynchronous, and built to scale.
                    I enjoy working in teams where collaboration, transparency, and shared ownership are part of the culture.
                    I like solving real-world problems with simple, scalable code.
