fix(SOL-419): stackone-agents - update stale StackOne docs links and MCP guidance (#40)
* fix(stackone-agents): update stale StackOne docs links and MCP guidance StackOne restructured its docs, which broke the MCP guide links (e.g. /mcp/framework-guides/claude-code returned 404). - Point MCP-from-code at api.stackone.com/mcp (API key + x-account-id) and the /embed/call-actions/mcp framework guides - Document the OAuth endpoint (mcp.stackone.com/mcp) for AI apps and update the Claude Code example to the current OAuth flow - Resolve per-framework/app/A2A guides from overview pages and llms.txt instead of hardcoded lists, so new or removed guides need no skill edit - Fix the Python SDK framework list (add LangGraph, drop Google ADK) and add Python conversion methods - Bump skill metadata version to 2.1 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): restore AI apps row in integration method table Split the MCP Server row into agent code (API key) and AI apps (OAuth) so requests like "set up StackOne in Claude Code" are routed correctly from Step 1. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): add Step 2d for MCP in AI apps Give the AI apps (OAuth) path its own step to match the Step 1 table, resolving app guides from the AI platforms overview page. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): add general 404 fallback for docs URLs If any docs.stackone.com URL 404s, look the page up by topic in llms.txt; if an SDK README 404s, find it via the GitHub repo. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): drop per-step llms.txt fallbacks The general 404 rule in the Important section now covers these. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): keep MCP (no code required) as Step 2c Restore the AI apps path to its original Step 2c position and table row, with MCP from agent code following as Step 2d, to minimise the diff against the original skill. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): use session token URLs for AI app MCP setup Replace the OAuth instructions in Step 2c, the Step 1 table and the Claude Code example with the session token URL method (api.stackone.com/mcp?token=...), including a warning to treat the URL like a password. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): defer session token setup steps to the docs Replace copied dashboard steps with a pointer to each app guide's session token section, keeping only the security warning. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): address review feedback - Extend the general docs fallback to cover pages that load but don't link the needed guide, not just 404s - Clarify that MCP Inspector auth headers are added in the Inspector UI Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): remove duplicate docs fallback from integration guide The general fallback rule in SKILL.md already covers this, and the guide is only reached via SKILL.md. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(stackone-agents): state the .md docs tip once in SKILL.md Move the "append .md for markdown" tip into the Important section and drop the per-step and integration guide copies. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(SOL-419): align docs fetching guidance across skills - .md suffix only for urls not already ending in .md; llms.txt as is - .md on remaining docs urls - contact support when docs do not cover it Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

22+
When fetching a `docs.stackone.com` page whose URL doesn't already end in `.md`, append `.md` to get it as markdown. `llms.txt` is already plain text, so fetch it as is.
23+
24+
**If any URL in this skill returns 404, or a page doesn't cover what you need** (e.g. an overview page doesn't link the user's framework or app; StackOne reorganizes its docs from time to time):
25+
- For a `docs.stackone.com` page, fetch `https://docs.stackone.com/llms.txt`, which indexes every docs page by title and description. Search it for the page's topic (e.g. "MCP", "AI Platforms", "Agent2Agent", "Claude Code") and use the URL listed there.
26+
- For an SDK README, open the repository instead (`https://github.com/stackoneHQ/stackone-ai-node` or `https://github.com/stackoneHQ/stackone-ai-python`) and find the current README.
27+
- If the docs don't cover the question, say so and suggest contacting StackOne support. Don't invent an answer.

### Step 2c: MCP Server path (no code required)
9098

91-
StackOne's MCP server is at `https://api.stackone.com/mcp`.
99+
For using StackOne from Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI apps.
100+
101+
AI apps connect using a session token URL generated in the StackOne dashboard. Fetch `https://docs.stackone.com/connect/ai-platforms/overview.md`. It links to a setup guide for each supported app. Follow the link for the user's app and use its "Connecting with a session token instead" section.
102+
103+
The URL grants access to a linked account on its own, so treat it like a password and never commit it.

105+
See Example 2 for Claude Code.
106+
107+
### Step 2d: MCP from your agent code
108+
109+
Use this path for frameworks the SDKs don't cover (e.g. Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK, Azure AI Foundry) or when you prefer a standard MCP client.
110+
111+
StackOne's MCP server for agent code is at `https://api.stackone.com/mcp`. Every request needs:
112+
- `Authorization: Basic <base64(API_KEY:)>` (append a colon to the API key, then base64 encode)
113+
- `x-account-id: <ACCOUNT_ID>` (switch this per customer for multi-tenant agents; see Step 3)

For client-specific setup instructions, fetch the relevant guide:

- Claude Code: `https://docs.stackone.com/mcp/framework-guides/claude-code`
95-
- Claude Desktop: `https://docs.stackone.com/mcp/app-guides/claude-desktop`
96-
- Other clients: fetch `https://docs.stackone.com/llms.txt` and search for the client name
115+
Fetch the overview first: `https://docs.stackone.com/embed/call-actions/mcp.md`. It links to a setup guide for each supported agent framework (Anthropic SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangChain, Google ADK, etc.). Follow the link that matches the user's framework.
