Hi,

limiting Kids to 3 and giving the option to (Have +3 Kids) is reasonable and realistic in real life. But, forced credits (Boat, TV) and unlimited Downsize are not.

why not make them like Kids ? by default, no forced Credits and Downsize limited to 2, and make an option (Have Forced Credits) and (Have +2 Downsize).

Hey, I appreciate the feedback and glad you're enjoying the game. I've considered adding some downsize options. Insurance was made to add as a way to mitigate downsize costs. Though I find downsizes most impactful early in the game before getting a few assets. A doodad card or setup option for "one free downsize" would probably be a good addition to the game. A agree that the forced credits aren't completely realistic but haven't given changing them much thought up until now because they are in the original game. An option to pay cach would be a good update to them. I think the idea of using credit for them does go well with the spirit of Cashflow because the challenge is in leveraging assets and liabilities, but realistically many people would pay cash for a tv or boat if they can afford to. As for the kids, I've considered adding a "random starting child amount" as a setup option. If it's something you want to see let me know and I could add it soon. Regarding the visibility stock sale price, I actually began implementing it some time ago. I'll give a look at it again and hopefully can add it to the game in the near future. Thanks, Sam

Hi Sam,

thank you for your response and THANK you for the great version of the game, I just found it yesterday and cant stop playing it :) really flexible.

I've been playing the original game for months now, but everyone in the community are annoyed with the forced credits and the insane downsizing (my record is 7 times in 1 game), we tried to contact them to update the game but no reply.

the payments in the game are reasonable and part of life, such as dinner, daughter wedding, son college ... etc, and they are one time deals.

so far, I see removing the forced credits and limiting the downsizing will make the game more like testing and planning the future life style desired.

what I learned, when playing with others the game become a race, but when playing alone the game become testing the future and finding what works and what not.

looking forward for the next version.

just to let you know

when you decide to payoff the Boat, the game does not pick up the price and show "undefined" , you have to put the price manually.

if you decide to remove it in next version, then there is nothing to worry about, if not, then it's something you should look at and fix.
