Websocket is not being accepted when openieng and closing

I am using the given html page for transcribing audio, and using the openai-api backend.

After setting the openai key, I am doing the below

python whisper_fastapi_online_server.py --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8000 --backend openai-api --language en

It works well for the first try. When I hit stop recording and hit start again, it fails

The websocket is frozen and does not seem to be opening again.

It stays at websocket closed by user,and the backend seems to be frozen

Can you please guide me on what I'm doing wrong please?

This report refers to the old whisper_fastapi_online_server.py entry point and no longer has enough current information to reproduce. The current server starts with wlk and exposes the native WebSocket at /asr.

If repeated start and stop still fails on the latest release, please open a bug report with the browser, exact server command, backend logs, and WebSocket close code. Closing this old thread as outdated.
