False positive virus scan (not complaining but need to know the reason)

Might be the antivirus not "knowing" this version of the Klick'r app before, or the signing key used by Nain57 not being in their database as trusted. Can you tell me which virus scanner this was?

Don't worry, the Klick'r app is 100% safe. The code is literally open source and nothing malicious is there.

And, do you have any other sideloaded apps, that got flagged? which version of Klick'r were you using that got flagged, and source of installation?

I know that's why i said false positive since i used it long enough to know how to use it properly

And the scanner is the phone's one which uses avast on (realme 5)

The latest beta that i downloaded from here which surprised since it didn't get flagged at first but now the phone doesn't accept it (can't it be the universal apk its just a guess)

Some "safety manager" tends to flags apps as "Risky" depending on the permissions they requests, and Klick'r is indeed requesting dangerous permissions to give if you don't know the app (Klick'r can see everything displayed and can inject actions). My OnePlus is doing the same, but in a less threatening way.

Is there any other details provided ? What happen when you click on fix ? Also, have you installed the app via the PlayStore, F-Droid or Github ? Manually installed apps are the principle vector of contamination for malicious code, and they tend to be flagged more easily

Hey i found this and lol when does the ads considered as something malicious and yes i manually installed it using the universal apk of the latest beta (also it doesn't happen when installing via playstore)

By the way i suddenly got this as notification for no reason also i didn't use it like a week ago

Lol. For actually threatening "popup ads", there could be serious risk of phishing. But here, the false positive is probably triggered by the fact that Klick'r needs the "Display on top of other apps" permission to show its overlay. Which your antivirus happened to misinterpret. (I don't thing the cause of false positive could be the official Google ads integration on the playstore version, especially when ads are disabled automatically and not bundled in for fdroid flavors)
