Google Play Console App Review

I’m not sure if I’m the only one with this problem, but my app with Android Auto integration takes at least two weeks to be approved on the Google Play Console. My other apps take anywhere from a few hours to a maximum of two days. I know that Google now checks most things fully automatically, but probably does more manual checks for Android Auto. So my question is whether you’re having the same problem and if you have any ideas or tips on how to simplify and speed up the review process at Google.

Usually it took us one day to pass the review but right now we are sitting here and wait since Sept 18, 2026, 8:45 pm for the review to pass..... I have no idea what is going on with Google right now.

OK, thanks – so it’s not just me then. I’m afraid it’s down to the many Vibe Coded apps that are overloading the review pipeline. The waiting times are really bad at the moment, especially for urgent updates.
