Multiple general questions

Hi,
First of all GREAT app. By far the most stylish and useful combined FOSS gallery app. The features are so well thought out. Also the tab with the introduction into the app - I'm thinking about how much time you've had to invest into it - helped really.

My questions are:

• How does this thing with showing the location of a picture on a map? - I've red this feature is not included in the apk of F-Droid, is that right? So I won't be able to use it?

• Related to the last question, so the F-Droid apk is like the offline version, isn't it? Or is it giving some more features compared to the offline version?

• Is it already possible to show hidden pictures because like WhatsApp has some hidden pictures etc. and on Fossify Gallery it's possible to show them what this app can't do, does it
  -> That would be an great feature request

• Can I create new albums via app or only collections or is a album a collection and if yes where is it storages
  -> if a collection is the same like an album it would be helpful to assign it to a specific folder itself

• What can the AI feature all do/how far can I go with the requests?

• What is the difference between section & group?

• What is the button "merge subfolders" mean?

• How to change the location when creating a new album?

1 and 2: you can get it from GitHub realeses and update via obtanium

3: you can't right now

4: I think "collections" groups albums and deleting it doesn't delete the media inside it

5: It tries to identify and group similar stuff so it's easier to search (e.g cats, people etc...)

6: ¯\_༼ •́ ͜ʖ •̀ ༽_/¯

7: suppose you have this file tree:

Photos/
├── Vacation/
│ ├── beach.jpg
│ └── hotel.jpg
├── Family/
│ └── dinner.jpg
└── Pets/
└── cat.jpg

Merge subfolders ON: You'll see beach.jpg, hotel.jpg, dinner.jpg, and cat.jpg together in one album/view.

Merge subfolders OFF: You'll see the Vacation, Family, and Pets subfolders separately, and you'll need to open each one to see its contents.

8: you can't right now

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for answering all my questions. I didn't really get 7the point. Could you explain it to me again?
If I download the apk from GitHub I'll have all the "premium" features, right? But first of all I need to make a backup. What's all in a backup included?

[Pancakebamboo]

| Folder ->Photos
| Subfolder ->Vacation
| pictures in subfolder ->beach.jpg hotel.jpg
| 2° subfolder ->Family
| picture in 2° subfolder ->dinner.jpg
| 3° sub folder ->Pets
| picture In 3° subfolder ->cat.jpg

If you merge all subfolders you'll see the beach.jpg, hotel.jpg, dinner.jpg and cat.jpg pics all together in one album, otherwise they would be in separate albums

If I download the apk from GitHub I'll have all the "premium" features, right?

Yes, download the standard version

What's all in a backup included?
