this works using the UMD build. slightly more complicated to test locally as you need to host the file available somewhere.

I cd into the sdk-vanillajs/dist and run pnpx serve to host the files, then i temporarily included as a script tag in the index.html of demo-vanillajs and it worked by exposing itself through window.HappyChain

once its officially published an example demo will be much easier to make

Is this likely to break further down the line?

If yes we should probably automate this process by adding an extra page that uses the <script> tag and and the URL gets populated with an ENV variable at build time, then add a Makefile rule to serve set the env var to the local value and test locally.

Is the UMD build generated automatically or do we need to add a makefile rule for that?

I don't think it should break down the line, but we can definitely make a demo for it. umd is built automatically ✔️
