Licensing Notice

1. Copyright

Authors retain copyright in their contributions. Copyright in code inherited from Space Station 14 belongs to its respective authors; the upstream notice "Copyright (c) 2017-2026 Space Wizards Federation" in LICENSE.TXT is retained.

2. Contributions merged after 2 August 2024

All contributions merged into this repository after the merge of pull request #166 (2 August 2024) are licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 (SPDX: AGPL-3.0-only). The full text is in LICENSE-AGPLv3.txt.

3. Earlier code

Code merged into this repository before 2 August 2024, including code inherited from Space Station 14, remains licensed under the MIT License (LICENSE.TXT). MIT-licensed code may be included in a work distributed under the AGPL-3.0-only; the MIT license text and copyright notices are retained.

4. Third-party components

Material imported from other projects remains licensed under the terms stated in its file headers or provided by its source project. This notice does not alter those terms. In particular:

  • files carrying an SPDX identifier retain it (for example, AGPL-3.0-or-later in code originating from Goobstation);
  • the RobustToolbox submodule is licensed as described in RobustToolbox/legal.md.

5. Assets

Textures, audio, maps and other assets are licensed individually. The license and attribution are stated next to the asset (meta.json of an .rsi, attributions.yml in audio directories, map_attributions.txt, shuttle_attributions.txt). Unless stated otherwise, assets are licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0. Some assets are licensed for non-commercial use only (CC-BY-NC and similar) and must be removed before any commercial use.

6. Contributor License Agreement

Contributions are accepted subject to the Contributor License Agreement (Russian translation).

1. Авторские права

Авторы сохраняют авторские права на свои вклады. Права на код, унаследованный из Space Station 14, принадлежат его авторам; уведомление «Copyright (c) 2017-2026 Space Wizards Federation» в LICENSE.TXT сохраняется.

2. Вклады, вмерженные после 2 августа 2024 года

Все вклады, вмерженные в этот репозиторий после слияния pull request #166 (2 августа 2024 года), лицензируются на условиях GNU Affero General Public License версии 3 (SPDX: AGPL-3.0-only). Полный текст — в LICENSE-AGPLv3.txt.

3. Более ранний код

Код, вмерженный в репозиторий до 2 августа 2024 года, включая код, унаследованный из Space Station 14, остаётся лицензированным на условиях лицензии MIT (LICENSE.TXT). Код под лицензией MIT может входить в произведение, распространяемое на условиях AGPL-3.0-only; текст лицензии MIT и уведомления об авторских правах сохраняются.

4. Компоненты третьих лиц

Материалы, импортированные из других проектов, остаются лицензированными на условиях, указанных в заголовках их файлов или установленных их исходным проектом. Настоящее уведомление эти условия не изменяет. В частности:

  • файлы с идентификатором SPDX сохраняют его (например, AGPL-3.0-or-later в коде, происходящем из Goobstation);
  • подмодуль RobustToolbox лицензируется на условиях, описанных в RobustToolbox/legal.md.

5. Ресурсы

Текстуры, звуки, карты и иные ресурсы лицензируются индивидуально. Лицензия и указание авторства приводятся рядом с ресурсом (meta.json у .rsi, attributions.yml в каталогах аудио, map_attributions.txt, shuttle_attributions.txt). Если не указано иное, ресурсы лицензируются по CC-BY-SA 3.0. Часть ресурсов лицензирована только для некоммерческого использования (CC-BY-NC и аналогичные) и должна быть удалена перед любым коммерческим использованием.

6. Лицензионное соглашение с контрибьютором

Вклады принимаются на условиях Лицензионного соглашения с контрибьютором (русский перевод).
