GuildPixel

GuildPixel is a Python Discord bot I built in 2023 for a Hypixel guild community. I uploaded the project to GitHub in 2024 and keep it here as a snapshot of one of my earlier projects.

Features

  • Displays Hypixel guild and Discord member counts in voice-channel names
  • Generates randomized guild advertisement messages
  • Tracks Question of the Day scores and displays a leaderboard
  • Includes utility commands and early experiments with automatic roles

Configuration

The bot reads its credentials from environment variables:

export DISCORD_TOKEN="your-discord-token"
export HYPIXEL_API_KEY="your-hypixel-api-key"
python main.py

Never commit real credentials to the repository.

Project status

This is a historical project and is not actively maintained. It contains server-specific IDs and may require changes to work with current versions of its APIs and dependencies.
